I wanted to find a blog about the Beatles so I could discuss my favorite subject, but no luck.
I searched for a blog about Eric Clapton because over the Christmas break I read Patti Boyd and Eric Clapton's books. Again, no luck.

The above Clapton/Boyd clip is from November or December 2007 Time Magazine (I can't remember which one I cut it from.)
I decided perhaps if I mentioned these subjects in my blog someone would read them and come to me. I'm really not sure how this whole blogging thing works. I decided to complete the class assignment and worry about technique later. I want to add that clicking on the "next blog" link only supplied advertising blogs. What a drag.
With art and culture being the topic of our class, I searched for art blogs. The only one that interested me can be found at: http://tlltworld.blogspot.com/. The blogger combined photos from Flickr to create categories of photos that are similiar in texture, color, or shape. A woman in a ballerina tutu resembles the color and shape of a sheet of ice.

The groupings of photos are clever and unique. The blogger mentions bringing together photos from "the man in Africa and the woman in the US" as a form of blending because in one small setting, on one small blog, their photos are combined and viewed side-by-side. The theme of this particular blog appears to be the interconnectness of "shapes and colors," as well as the joining of uniqueness in the world. I enjoyed his ideas and manner of presentation.
Peace,
